Bonne and I met at this very spot 18 years ago, we were 15 years old - going into our junior year in high school. We met Bo for the first time that summer of 1988. Before Schembechler Hall it was the Sports Services Building. By our freshmen year in college Schembechler Hall was built. I remember the smell of new carpet and paint. I have a piece of the original carpet from the museum. It has been with me for 16 years. I was able to meet Bo on several occasions during my tenure as a student athletic trainer.
