Michigan vs. Oregon 8 September 2007

Well, Oregon is on the agenda for today. How will the team respond to the calls for Lloyd's head on a pike and his body to be dragged through town? How 'bout the single worst loss in Michigan football history happening last week....how will the team react? Lou Holtz (and you know how I feel about him) said someone should pay for the loss to Appalachian State, why not Oregon? Right on, Lou! Thanks for the pep talk - I would gladly suit up for you after that!

Talked to Mark in TX last night as I was speeding to A2. He is in Cali - and after the loss last week, removed the game today from his agenda! I told him we'd let him know if he should find a sports bar and tune into the game. Needless to say, it wasn't required.

Sooo......we're now 0-2, the worst start at home for the football program since 1959. Watching the Penn State - Notre Dame game, it looks like Notre Dame (our opponent for next week) may actually be a decent matchup! The two teams are coming into the game 0-2 for the first time in the history of the matchup. We had 144 yards of rushing today - Notre Dame had ZERO.
As much as I hate the Domers, I'll be happy to see them come into the Big House next week - at least we might win!

Injury update:
Henne left the game in the 2nd half with an undisclosed lower leg injury. As of this evening, Henne is doubtful for the game next week. Looks like we'll get another look at Mallet. Maybe the O-line won't collapse every time the ball is in his hands....

I will be in attendence next week - like it or not then I get a break while I'm in sub-Saharan Africa for the next 2 games.
