Well, here we are up against Little Brother - who's favorite football team is App. State - someone who can actually beat Michigan. Michigan State hasn't beaten UM at the Big House since 1990. 18 years for those of you who aren't too quick in the math department. Its been 6 years since they last won.
Anyway, if State is going to beat UM, this is probably their last best chance to do so for a few years. Michigan is certainly down, but you can never discount them.
This game was full of ups and downs - people in our section fighting, some getting ejected for a while, it was just a bizarre day. We had great food (naturally) and good times - even with our Sparties.
I won't rag on Sparty too much - this is their year to beat Michigan. Along with Utah, Notre Dame, Illinois....well, you get the idea. Its a down year - we know that.
Enjoy your time in the win column, Sparty. We'll be in East Lansing to collect our trophy next year.
